Job Description

Your Mission

As Project Engineer – 3D Concrete Print Solutions, you are a key contributor in translating digital construction concepts into reliable industrial processes. You support and operate our 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) systems across laboratory, off-site, near-site and on-site environments. Your focus lies on material validation, process stability and execution excellence — ensuring that innovative printing technology performs consistently under real-world construction conditions. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who combines concrete technology expertise with operational drive and a strong interest in industrializing additive construction methods.

Your Responsibilities

3DCP Process Execution

  • Execute and actively contribute to 3DCP printing operations in lab and field environments
  • Ensure stable and repeatable printing performance across project phases
  • Operate and maintain batching systems to guarantee consistent mix quality

Material & Quality Management

  • Test concrete mixes and produce quality control specimens
  • Monitor curing processes and handling of printed elements
  • Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with EN/DIN, ISO standards and safety regulations

Logistics & Prefabrication Coordination

  • Manage materials, prefabrication workflows and element handling
  • Coordinate transport of 3D printed components between off-site and on-site locations
  • Support positioning and assembly of modular elements on-site

Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Transfer

  • Gather operational feedback and contribute to process optimization
  • Document procedures and lessons learned
  • Support structured knowledge transfer across teams and project partners

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in concrete precast production, concrete technology, construction operations or comparable industrial environments
  • Solid understanding of concrete material behavior, batching processes and quality control
  • Hands-on experience in production, site execution or prefabrication environments
  • Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and operational mindset
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary and international project environments
  • Fluent English; German or Dutch is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site during project phases

Additional Information

Why join us:

  • Be part of industrializing 3D concrete printing in real construction projects
  • Work at the interface of material science, digital design and construction execution
  • Contribute to shaping scalable, sustainable building technologies
  • International project exposure across Europe
  • Long-term development opportunities within a global innovation-driven organization
