Job Description
Main Responsibilities
1. Demand Planning & Scheduling
- Support material and demand planning
- Schedule and manage procurement orders based on demand and disposition
2. Purchase Order Execution
- Process requisitions into accurate, timely purchase orders
- Monitor purchase orders and follow up on confirmations, dispatch, and delivery
- Verify and process order confirmations and delivery notes
- Call off global contracts and framework agreements
3. Supplier & Claims Management
- Serve as the main contact for supplier queries and communication
- Handle supplier complaints, claims and escalation
- Maintain supplier master data including contact persons, language variants and local input
4. Inventory & Material Management
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities
- Manage processes for material orders and extended workbench
5. Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Work with strategic procurement colleagues to implement P2P initiatives
- Support process efficiency, volume consolidation and transaction cost reduction for the Area Europe
- Collaborate with global Procurement, the Area Team Europe and other stakeholders to ensure smooth P2P execution
Qualifications
- Business, technical or commercial degree; procurement diploma or equivalent experience
- Min. 1-3 years’ operational procurement experience in a professional organization
- Proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
- Knowledge of P2P processes, order management and procurement technology
- Understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures and import/export documentation would be an advantage
- Strong collaborative skills and positive attitude
- Ability to build relationships and networks across functions and leadership levels
- Detail-oriented, proactive and solution-driven combined with hands-on mentality
- Strong communication skills in English—oral and written—across multiple audiences including suppliers, internal teams and management; German is a plus
