Job Description

Doka USA is looking for an Area Manager to support our Florida branches and will be responsible for the overall management and profitability of the branch, ensuring operational excellence, driving sales growth, and overseeing engineering and support services. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen who can manage cross-functional teams, foster client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered to high standards. This position will be based out of our Pompano Beach, FL branch and will report directly to our Southern Region Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the branch’s strategic business plan to achieve financial and operational goals and monitor branch performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and operations, ensuring collaboration and efficiency.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the formwork and shoring industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals, close deals, and manage client accounts.
  • Provide guidance to the engineering leadership team to ensure project designs meet client requirements and comply with safety and industry standards.
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical solutions to support sales and project execution.
  • Oversee branch operations, including logistics, equipment inventory, and scheduling, to ensure projects are executed efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to optimize resource allocation and ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within the construction, formwork, or shoring industry.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
  • Solid understanding of formwork and shoring systems, engineering principles, and construction processes.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and CRM software.
