Job Description

Doka Gulf is recruiting a new Workshop Supervisor to support with the increased demand for our products in the market. We are looking for someone who will:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the carpentry workshop, including planning, scheduling, and assigning tasks to team members.
  • Ensure all carpentry work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance.
  • Review shop drawings.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the production process.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, inventory, and employee performance.
  • Perform heavy physical labour.
  • Work in accordance with the global Doka quality rules and procedures
  • Work in various environments as required (workshop and at site)
