We currently have a vacancy for an IT Support Specialist to provide user support, resolve help desk tickets, and contribute to the efficient operation of our IT systems, including our ERP system ams.erp. IT-savvy ERP users or Key Users with programming skills who are looking to transition into an Software Developer role are also encouraged to apply.

Job Description

As an IT Support Specialist in Litomyšl, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing excellent support to our users. You will work closely with the ISPC team and other departments to address technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and enhance our overall IT capabilities.
 

  • Provide timely and effective user support to global locations, resolving help desk tickets and technical issues
  • Troubleshooting in software problems, escalating complex issues as needed
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles to facilitate user self-service
  • Collaborate with the headquarters team in Amstetten, Austria, and other global locations team to implement solutions and improvements to our IT systems
  • Utilize VBScript skills to support and maintain automation scripts within our ERP system ams.erp.
  • Assist in the development and customization of reports using reporting tools like Crystal Reports or MS SSRS
  • Ensure the maintenance and optimization of existing solutions to uphold performance and reliability
  • Input to documentation and overview of new features, bug fixing and implementing improvements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT support roles, with a strong focus on user support and help desk ticket resolution.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with users at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in common script languages especially VBScript for scripting and automation tasks, is beneficial.
  • SQL skills with experience working with MS SQL Server
  • Interest in reporting tools such as Crystal Reports or MS SSRS for developing and customizing reports is beneficial
  • Excellent command of the English language. Proficiency in other languages, especially German and Czech is beneficial
  • IT-savvy ERP users or Key Users with programming skills who aspire to transition into a software developer role are welcome.
