    Job Description

    Provides subject matter expertise and overall program management of the access program during the term of the contract. Shall lead and be responsible for coordinating early planning efforts, development of scope, workflows, and procedures and act as the main point of contact for all onsite planning, scheduling, design, and execution-related matters as it pertains to temporary access works. The role shall work closely with the Owner and the designated Labor Contractor to coordinate all planning & design, work execution, administrative and reporting functions.

    Qualifications

    • Provides subject matter expertise across all areas of temporary access as it relates to scaffolding and other alternative methods of access to provide “best practice” solutions to the Client with a focus on safety, efficiency, and productivity enhancement to the Labor Contractor.
    • Acts in Owner best interests to ensure methods of access meet end-user requirements evaluating and consulting on factors such as dimensions, load requirements, points of access, transport, and multi-trade access.
    • Provides input and ensures KPI’s, reporting metrics and the reporting dashboards are established in consultation with the Owner and the Labor Contractor.
    • Identifies temporary access requirements in line with Owner detailed construction schedule and facilitates access and resource planning meetings on a daily/weekly basis with all relevant interfaces.
    • Ensures installation work packages are constraint free prior to releasing to the Labor Contractor for work to progress.
    • Leads and participates in all field walk downs and verifications in conjunction with the Labor Contractor.
    • Ensures installation work packages identified align with Owner planning & scheduling initiatives for accurate forecasting of material requirements and Labor Contractor’s staffing levels.
    • Provides a weekly report outlining status of programs overall performance, productivity, accomplishments, and areas of concerns to Owner.
    • Leads temporary access audits in consultation with the Owner and Labor Contractor to verify accuracy of builds, modifiers, and component count.
    • Review and vetting of monthly invoices received for scaffolding rental and installation services.
    • Interfacing with trade sub-contractors to establish scaffolding needs.
    • Developing a cost effective and efficient method for building and demolishing scaffolding assemblies.
    • Provide an overall post project analysis detailing final productivity rate and reconciliation of erected and demolished scaffolding.
