Doka Philippines is currently looking for Junior Project Engineer who will be responsible in providing engineering design and calculation support to high-rise buildings and civil infrastructure projects in the region.

This position requires someone who understands the Formwork and Scaffolding, and can manage formwork design planning independently as well as manage a team, if required and support in the sales proposal and pitching.

Your responsibilities

• Implement formwork solutions as per instructions and project requirements within a project team
• Standard / Special formwork design in AutoCAD
• Create formwork design for customer presentations
• Propose the most economical and best technical solution
• Conduct and perform basic static calculations / docementations
• Produce material list, for offer drawing and shop drawing stages
• Assist Sales Engineers with site visits and client presentation
• Coordinate the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructions
• Coordinate with clients for technical issues
• Coordination with other involved departments
• Consideration of availability of material in the design stage
• Directly reporting to assigned Team Leader

What do I need to qualify for the job?

• Technical/Civil Engineering Qualification
• Auto CAD and formwork knowledge
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience in formwork engineering (and statics)
• Solid communication skills in English
• Team player with attention to detail and a feel for economic matters
• Eager to learn and improve knowledge and skills
• Shows adaptability and is open to change
• Understanding of our business model and cross-functional collaboration
• Basic product knowledge
• Revit modelling skill is a plus
