Doka is currently looking for a Project Technician MEAAP or a Senior Project Technician MEAAP to join its versatile team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position requires an enthusiastic individual who is capable of managing multiple projects and has extensive experience in formwork design.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Engineering MEAAP.

• Accountable for managing multiple projects and engineering teams together with Junior PT and PT
• Provide strong leadership and actively promote knowledge sharing and engineering trainings/development for project team
• Analyse structural drawings given by clients
• Implement formwork solutions as per project requirements
• Special formwork design in AutoCAD and Revit
• Create formwork design for customer presentations
• Propose the most economical and best technical solution
• Conduct basic static calculations and advanced structural analysis
• Produce material list, offer drawings and shop drawings
• Assist Sales Engineers with site visits and client presentation
• Coordinate the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructions
• Coordinate with clients for technical issues
• Coordination with other involved departments
• Consideration of availability of material in the design stage
• Coordinate availability of project team with HoE region

• Technical/Civil Engineering Qualification
• Experience with Auto CAD 2D/3D
• Experience with Revit 2D/3D is a must
• Experience with RStab 2D/3D is a plus
• At least 5 years of intensive experience in formwork engineering (and statics)
• Solid communication skills in English
• Team player with attention to detail and a feel for economic matters
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage a project and its internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to make decisions, take responsibility, delegate and deliver presentations
• Eager to learn and improve knowledge and skills
• Show adaptability, is open to change and able to manage it
• Thorough understanding of our business model and cross-functional collaboration
• Understanding of logistics and contract management
