With a big focus on the "E" in ESG, as Head of Sustainability you will take on the following tasks in detail:

Tasks

  • You create and establish the organizational structures in the area of Sustainability and are the central point of contact within the Doka Group.
  • You will also be responsible for implementing the Doka sustainability strategy and sustainability KPIs that have already been drawn up.
  • You provide technical leadership to all the ESG managers within Doka.
  • You are the central contact person for internal & external stakeholders.
  • You support the global country organizations, business units and specialist departments in operational sustainability projects.
  • As the representative of Doka's sustainability strategy, you will represent Doka both internally and externally. In addition, you successively build up a network of experts.
  • You will work with other ESG officers on sustainability reporting and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Of course, you constantly monitor new regulatory frameworks and derive appropriate measures.

Qualifications

  • Completed business or technical studies with a focus on sustainability management or comparable training in the field of sustainability.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in sustainability management, ideally in an industrial company.
  • Knowledge of sustainability management requirements (EU taxonomy, CSRD, ESRS etc.) and willingness to follow and implement the development of the requirements.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional global business trips.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Good networker who is passionate about driving the issue of sustainability across organizations.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and confident appearance.

Additional Information

  • You organize your working hours independently and flexibly, as there are no fixed core hours.
  • You can work in your home office to a certain extent or alternatively use our shared offices in Linz or Vienna on a daily basis in addition to your workplace in Amstetten.
  • Doka offers an attractive working environment, e.g. a staff canteen with freshly cooked food, vitality and sports facilities, and a wonderful working atmosphere.
  • For this position, a salary in line with the market is offered, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience. We are legally obliged to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 42,558.88 according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
