As an operator in 3D Concrete Printing, your primary task will be to operate, maintain and implement the robot system (concrete 3D printer). This involves the printing process in innovative construction methods and building together with us the concrete structures of the future. Your first two weeks will be spent on training in the lab to ensure the successful operation of the robot systems.

We are looking for a highly motivated MBO4 candidate, with an affinity to 3D printing, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, process engineering, electrical or software engineering. Successful candidate will gain a knowledge of relevant operations within 3D Concrete Printing processes. He/She will interact with 3D printing subsystems like pumps, hoses, electrical equipment, motors, controls, printing head engineering, sensors and software interface. Managing and maintaining all required tools and equipment which are necessary in 3D printing process is an important part of the role. Dutch and English required.

• Able to operate and support 3D concrete printers
• Self-driven and eager to learn new technologies
• Interested in working in the laboratory as well as outside environment
• Manage and maintain all required tools and equipment within 3D concrete printing processes
• Team player with pragmatic solutions, strong verbal and written communications skills
• Self-motivation to implement new ideas and a proactive mind-set
• Assembly and disassembly of the printer systems
• Service, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Previous experience in 3D printing is a big plus
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams
• Able to ensure safe and efficient operations of systems and all subsystems
• Skills with problem solving in mechanical and electrical systems
