Our Holding - the Umdasch Group - is looking to expand its team.

As a “Senior Project Manager: Application of Sensors/ IoT on Construction and Real Estate” you will be a significant contributor to the new Umdasch growth strategy. You will be driving one of our key growth areas: application of sensors from conceptualization to go-to-market. A successful implementation of the project opens multiple career-opportunities within the successfully launched new growth areas.

Managerial - Ongoing project management:

• Selection of project team, set-up of project organization and management of project
• Lead project team and manage external and internal stakeholders
• Establish and deepen working relationships with (potential) customers
   

Technical - Use case development:

• Concretize application of sensors in construction and real estate use cases for potential go-to-market
• Gather critical insights from expert and test solutions early with potential customers
• Coordinate development and testing of minimum viable products (MVPs)
   

Commercial - Business case and go-to-market:

• Conduct market attractiveness and competitor research
• Calculate business cases for concretized use cases and develop go-to-market strategy
• Create investor’s pitch documents and pitch to the top management
• Development of network of key-accounts, partner, and supplier

• Minimum 7 years of experience in any of the following fields: business/strategy consulting, business development manager, project manager or engineer with strong business background
• Business or technical degree in one of the following fields: (business) engineering, (business) computer science, automation technology, electrical/mechanical engineering
• Profound and proven project management skills (commercial and/or technical)
• Preferably knowledge and network in the domain of sensors, IoT and smart building operations
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen (customer, market, business case, go-to-market plan, business model)
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong passion for innovation
• Strong analytical and structural skills and proficient communicator
• Open, pro-active team player, intrinsically motivated, experience to work in international teams
• Agile and creative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented problem-solving approach with high quality commitment
• Willingness to step-up in a managerial position of the new growth area after launch
• Excellent command of English and German
• Willingness to travel occasionally in the DACH region as well as internationally

Job Location:
Depending on your preference, you will be located either in our headquarters in Amstetten, Austria or at our NeoTwin Office in Munich, Germany.
