Job Description

Although Doka has an IT helpdesk for IT queries and software issues, this position is responsible for all hardware aspects of ICT and security for Doka UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities 

  • Assisting the IT helpdesk teams with preparation of hardware/software, including maintaining records of all hardware for UK and Ireland users and ordering new equipment when needed
  • Monitoring, fault tracking and problem management to ensure optimum service
  • Writing and updating technical workflows to ensure the team is kept up to date
  • Maintaining cyber security certificate
  • Getting involved in a variety of IT projects as identified by Doka HQ and rolling out to UK and Ireland, i.e. time and attendance management system
  • Responsible for mobile phone contracts and the renewal when required
  • Responsible for site CCTV and alarm systems

Essential Skills:

  • Technically proficient in IT
  • Team focused and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues to offer support and advice
  • Friendly and approachable personality
  • Problem solving mindset and able to think logically and calmly under pressure
  • Able to manage and prioritise workload appriopriately
