We have an exciting opportunity for a positive, confident and ambitious individual to join the Engineering Training Team for Basic Trainings and Quality Trainings.
As a Doka Engineer subject matter expert, you will provide first class training and coaching to recently hired Engineers with minimal to no formwork experience.
The location of role will be at our Lawrenceville, GA; home of our North America Engineering Academy. All Doka Employees and Residents of GA are encouraged to apply.
Job Description
As a trainer for the North America Engineering Academy, you are instrumental in ensuring the knowledge transfer to NAM Doka Engineers. The spectrum of your key responsibilities ranges from preparation to organization, execution, managing and coaching during the project execution and development phase and ends in the post-processing of the trainings.
Summary of Position:
Lead Trainer for the NAM Engineering Academy located at our Georgia office in Lawrenceville, Ga. shall be a motivated self-starter, Doka knowledgeable and experienced individual with North America formwork system. This position reports to the Executive advisor or his/her designate.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of material, organization, execution, managing and coaching of participants during training
Development of engineering training programs that support the strategic growth initiatives of the countries
Design of a target group-oriented learning process and environment
Clearly aligned learning objectives with the participant and branch management
Professional appearance and representation of Doka towards our customers
Tasks and Duties:
Observation of internal standards and process
Regular communications with managers on participants progress
Manage and coach participant during training sessions and project execution phase
Create and maintain post-training evaluation and feedback after each training session
Production of educational training aids and Learning Videos (Doka products
Production of 3D Animations (projects and products)
Assist in setting objectives and targets with managers and participants
Other Responsibilities/Peripheral Functions:
Continually strives to improve training concept and processes
Able to travel to branches if needed for upskilling
Ensures safe work practices and a safe work environment.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned, including participating in company committees
Qualifications
At least 4-5 years of experiences with Doka standard formwork systems
Doka Employee or Former Employee a plus and encouraged
Strong communication skills in English
Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Engineering (construction, structural, civil, or mechanical required) or related equivalent experience.
Excellent and self-confident presentation skills
Highly organized self-motivated and efficient, eager to learn new skills
Ability to enthuse him/herself and others
3D Modeling (BIM) is a plus
Strong organizational skills
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and peers
Additional Information
Working conditions may vary from that of an office environment: dry, cool, well lighted. At time, may need to visit warehouse, yard environment or projects sites with exposure to extreme weather conditions, varying temperatures, loud noise levels, dust.
