Job Description

  • Receives H+M from subsidiaries and clients
  • Plans, administrates and assign tasks to H+M workshop team
  • Perform reconditioning work on H+M to restore them to group standards
  • Tracks and monitors time spent on hydraulic maintenance for charge out purposes
  • Able to troubleshoot, identify equipment issues and propose workable solutions regarding H+M
  • Possesses thorough understanding of the H+M reconditioning process and can issue appropriate instructions and check lists
  • Manages all spare parts for H+M  equipment including ordering parts inventory as needed  
  • Manage and maintains all the tools and related equipment required for the H+M distribution
  • Maintains the  H+M database
  • Close out reconditioning service orders and reports on materials and labor to be charged to clients
  • Support DC departments on all related topics to H+M materials
  • Willing and able to train and support Field Service and workshop personnel on H+M in alignment with group standards and processes

 

Other Responsibilities/Peripheral Functions

  • Other duties/projects as assigned; including participating in company committees/teams
  • Assists in ensuring safe working practices and a safe working environment.
  • Complies with all corporate policies and business practices
  • Actively participates in Hydraulic equipment management meetings as required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required. Certificate or Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 2- 5 years of recent Doka-related experience in operations or logistics preferred
  • Manages time and multiple tasks effectively and is capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills including an excellent command of English (speaking, reading, writing). Knowledge of German and Spanish language is a plus
  • Thorough understanding of Hydraulics and electrics
  • Strong working knowledge of the hydraulic test bench
  • Collaborates with  Doka HQ H+M Technicians to align, support and improve H+M processes and information systems
  • Able to navigate the DOPI program and locate information necessary to perform effectively in the role
  • Understands where to locate and how to use the Quality Criteria Documents in the DOPI system 
  • Qualitative abilities including strong technical proficiency and effective problem solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Basic understanding of Excel and MS Project
  • Basic knowledge of Doka’s proprietary inventory management system (Discos) and warehouse management system (Prolag World)
  • Willing and able to learn new computer systems, products, concepts and techniques
  • Able to work as an organized team player in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Open-minded and able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels
  • Awareness of responsibility and identification with function, team, employees and targets
  • Ensures compliance with all required Doka Quality Control standards

Able to perform effectively in a team environment and possess the ability to give direction to others ensuring company targets are achieved

This position requires the ability to support branch operations, country and regional functions within the office, yard and possibly, at times in the customer environment, solving various problems on short notice with minimal information.

This position requires the ability to think strategically and analytically. Able to envision the broader picture and understand the impact of his/her accountabilities as they relate to the entire company. Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to be organized and manage time to meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

Working conditions vary from that of an office environment: dry, cool, and well lighted to warehouses and equipment yards with exposure to noise, dust and extreme weather conditions.
