Job Description
Doka Italy offers an exciting opportunity as Head of Sales who will be driving the development and implementation of sales strategies in order to exploit the market potentials. The Head of Sales will be accountable for expanding Doka Italy's presence and will be responsible for managing sales, sales targets, profitability management and strategy implementation, in addition to leadership responsibility for the entire Doka Italy Sales Team.
Moreover, the incumbent will be driving margin goals and enabling the Sales Team to perform at higher levels. The Head of Sales is part of the Country Leadership Team and reports to the Country Managing Director Marco Falcone.
Key responsibilities include:
- To drive sales & margin goals for Doka Italy, monthly forecasts including revenue by product & customer and to ensure a solid & sustainable growth of Doka Italy.
- To ensure efficient & compliant projects and contract management.
- To be accountable for all credit interactions with the customer.
- To lead and manage the Sales Team and accompany them to reach their individual sales targets while additionally ensure trainings and development needs are met.
- To communicate clearly and be an active contributor to the Doka Italy Leadership Team and collaborate effectively.
- To optimize offer & order processes (claim mgmt, service charges, etc.) via appropriate monitoring & active training & management.
- To visualize the added value of management tools (Victori, Doka Calc, etc) according to Doka Group standards and to ensure effective utilization.
- To analyse competition trends and strategies and come up with counter strategies.
- To build and expand strong and profitable customer relationships.
Qualifications
Education & Technical
- Bachelor/Master degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Construction) or Commercial
- Proven Sales Management experience within construction supply industry; experience with different business mix (including rental) highly welcome
- Strong financial understanding & business acumen (Margin Drivers, Discount Policy, Pricing Strategies, …)
- Outstanding experience with Italian construction industry specifically in building construction, job site experience and project management
- State of the art knowledge with digital sales management tools
