Summary Of Position:

The Senior Design Engineer is accountable for technical planning, forming projects, managing individual projects and may manage small engineering teams consisting of Technicians.  If managing a team, he/she will provide strong leadership, technical direction and will ensure that team members are continually trained in Doka formwork systems. Ensures that the team represents the proper use of Doka concrete forming equipment for customers. He/she provides technical assistance to the sales department from the project design stage to project inception and completion.

Your Responsibilities

• You need to determine and plan technical solutions for projects utilizing Doka formwork & Special Steel formwork systems.
• You need to produce AutoCAD drawings using the Doka formwork & Special Steel formwork systems during the proposal stage and need to finalize the working drawing to be used for actual jobsite.
• You need to partner with customers, contractors, sales and operations departments while managing jobs from preliminary project planning stages to project completion.
• You need to support Sales by determining appropriate formwork solutions that meet the customer’s needs (economically, and in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines).
• You need to provide material lists for quotations to sales and to operations for shipments to
  the site.
• You need to produces and insures that the drawings indicate the proper use of Doka & Special Steel forming equipment and that the drawings represent safe, economical and efficient
  designs.
• You need to analyze and design/price calculations as required.

• Bachelor degree/ diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent education.
• AutoCAD 2D & 3D is a must.
• Revit, Tekla and Inventor is a plus.
• 7-10 years of related experience in concrete forming and shoring applications and design required specially in Infra projects.
• Doka & special steel formwork experience is preferred.
• Experience on the construction site and in estimation.
• Proficiency in English & Hindi.
