Job Description

As Lead Design Specialist, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing to design graphics consistent with Doka USA product and services, and create target specific content that drive marketing strategies across platforms including: digital & social media campaigns. In addition through design graphics and photography support Doka USA in messaging: internal & external events and tradeshows, and in house marketing/sales literature including design, development of press releases, promotional advertising, website/SEO management.

Strong graphic design skills and online marketing experience is required.

  • Design and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, brochures, posters, videos and ensure brand guidelines are met
  • Develop, implement, and track marketing programs and initiatives such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives, & sales promotion campaigns
  • Support in managing online content including company website, web store, and social media channels
  • Management of companywide Literature and Promotional Giveaways
  • Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
  • Responsible for Digital marketing strategy execution, website management & evolution, SEO strategy buildout and execution
  • Executing and participating in marketing programs, events, internal/external campaigns and tradeshows

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, English,  graphic design, instructional design or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications
  •  Excellent knowledge of digital channels, social media, SEO, content marketing and advertising
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing design tools:  Adobe InDesign, Premier, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience in setting up and managing leading analytical tools, e.g. Google Analytics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary

  • Choreographic/digital experience

  • Problem Solving: This position requires the ability to support the sales function within the office and at times in the customer environment, solving design and field problems on short notice with minimal information.

  • Communication:  Extensive daily interaction with internal colleagues, management and customers.  Excellent writing skills a must.

  • Mental Effort: Position requires the ability to work in an organized manner, in a fast-paced environment and manage time to meet deadlines. 

  • Working Conditions:  Working conditions vary from that of an office environment: dry, cool, well lighted, to outside conditions (equipment yard or job site), high noise level in certain areas, dust, wind and extreme outdoor temperatures.
