Job Description

In order to increase the market potential for Doka Group in the huge geographical span of Asia Pacific and to realize those tremendous growth opportunities in APAC Region, Doka offers an exciting, newly created opportunity as regional Strategic Marketing Manager - APAC.

You will be working on the EAP region’s most pressing topics and drive the strategy of EAP Region moving forward including alignment of global strategies and regional business plans and taking responsibility of regional strategic marketing. You will follow up with agreed strategic measures for those strategic projects in a clear and effective manner and holding teams and colleagues around accountable for its execution. You support on regional key strategic projects as well as on country level specific key strategic measures.

Specific responsibilities include:

Strategic Marketing

  • Develop marketing plans for assigned product and/or market/area/accounts, including defining programs and tactics and coordinating the execution in close collaboration with Regional and Group Product Management
  • Define go to market plans and being responsible for its timely implementation 
  • Generate deep insights on customers and market trends in construction industry through advanced marketing research 
  • Gather data and information on new markets, market trends, and competition 

Branding

  • Develop successful strategy for positioning the Doka brand in the region
  • Support Sales with developing presentation tutorials (ppt, videos)
  • Take ownership for, planning, preparation and smooth execution of exhibitions & fairs across EAP Region and support the countries individually on such a demand
Campaign Management and Marketing Communication
  • Ensure production of leaflets, brochures/catalogues according to masters versions and customization guidelines
  • Monitor Marketing Communication expenses versus budget approved in the regions / countries
  • Coach Country Marketing Managers or Marketing contact persons within the region

Qualifications

Required (Experience and Qualifications)

  • Academic Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar would be welcomed.
  • Strategy, business development, and strategic marketing implementation experience within a robust MNC environment
  • Solid background in designing, managing, and building business development programs and projects to satisfy deadlines and revenue and growth targets.
  • Strong financial understanding / business acumen (e.g. Margin Drivers, Discount Policy, Pricing Strategies)
  • Knowledge and understanding in the Construction Industry is required
  • Proven experience in managing an Asia  Pacific Market.
  • Outstanding MS Excel and related software application skills 
  • Proficient in ERP systems and database
