Job Description

In order to increase the market potential for Doka Group in the huge geographical span of Asia Pacific and to realize those tremendous growth opportunities in APAC Region, Doka offers an exciting, newly created opportunity as regional Strategic Marketing & BD Manager.

You will support the Head of Sales of APAC Region with development and implementation of sales strategies including alignment of global strategies and regional business plans and you will also take over responsibility of regional strategic marketing. Moreover you will be accountable for overall regional market research & analysis, revenue & pipeline management to identify growth markets, segments and products.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • To provide support in developing sales strategies, cost planning, pricing of tenders and contracts
  • To develop marketing plans for assigned product and/or market/area/accounts, including defining programs and tactics and coordinating the execution
  • To administrate project pipeline and optimize the data quality of the sales pipeline and forecast
  • To optimize the offer and order processes (project calculation, contract management. Change orders, claims, service charges) in order to increase gross margins
  • Market Research & Analysis
    To coordinate and conduct surveys from development through reporting, as well as analyzing and summarizing the results of both primary and secondary research for internal stakeholders.
    To identify, research, analyze potential leads and share proactively by preparing outputs from lead provider (BCI, internet or similar)
    To generate deep insights on customers and market trends in construction industry through advanced marketing research
    To manage all market research projects across East Asia & Pacific
    To observe Market Trends and Competition
  • Training and Support for effective utilization of Doka Sales Support Tools
    To provide support with internal sales tools, programs and pipeline management according to Group standards and to ensure and monitor effective utilization
    To be actively involved in arranging and participation of local/regional Sales trainings across EAP
  • To take ownership for, planning, preparation and smooth execution of exhibitions & fairs across EAP Region and support the countries individually on such a demand

Qualifications

 

  • Academic Degree in Commercial (Business Administration/MBA/Economics or Marketing) and/or Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred)
  • Some years of professional Strategic Marketing and Market Research work experience within the Construction Industry in Asia Pacific 
  • Particular Construction Industry knowledge and understanding required
  • Solid Understanding of Business Processes and Economic relations (Interpretation of key figures and controlling tools – project controlling)
  • Outstanding MS Excel and related software application skills as well as proficient in ERP systems and database’s
  • Personal Requirements:
    Conceptual and analytical thinking and business acumen with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    Passionate in strategic marketing & market research and general Sales Support
    High Learning Agility
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to travel flexibly within the region
