Job Description

The HR Development Manager APAC Region is a newly created position, playing a pivotal role in designing, developing & implementing all activities related to people (staff & leadership) development in Doka EAP Region. Additionally, it is expected that the successful candidate is able to execute selected development activities on its own, facilitating/moderating workshops and provide coaching for leaders in the region, while taking ownership on administrate tasks & issues around HR Development in the region. 

Your specific Responsibilities include:

Training & Development (Concept & Management):

  • You participate in designing the leadership and training concept for the region (Developing training roadmap and program, both in-house and with third party experts)
  • You manage the training budget (budget, KPI reportings ...) and optimize costs (sourcing of cost effective solutions, negotiation)
  • You are actively involved in the continuous development of the HR development concept and measure the impact of the trainings towards the expected results and come up with/propose additional/other trainings

Coordination of Training & Development Measures:

  • You coordinate internal or external Workshop/Development activities or webinars (communication, invitation of participants, follow up, arrangements, administration)
  • You select, follow up & build relationships with external providers and ensure cost efficiency
  • You continuously evaluate external providers towards the expected results
  • You provide assistance in developing and conducting trainings, seminars, workshops, and learning sessions
  • You monitor training measures in internal database tool (e.g. Cornerstone)

Preparation and Execution of Workshops/Trainings:

  • You prepare, conduct and follow up on workshops as part of the Leadership Training and others (Employee Assessment, Competency Model, Management Workshops, Exchange Groups)

Coaching:  

  • You provide performance coaching to Leaders in EAP Region by yourself

Qualifications

Required (Education and Technical)

  • Degree in Business, Psychology, Organization Development, HR or related fields
  • Several Years of experience in HR Learning & Development (incl. Administration & Execution) in a MNC environment and/or HR Development experience as Consultant
  • Effective Workshop Design & Faclitation/Moderation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Excellent Communication/Presentations skills including outstanding verbal and written English skills

Preferred (Skills and Background)

  • Specialized Certificate in Coaching and/or Mediation
  • HR Management / HR Generalist Experience
  • HR Systems (Cornerstone) experienced
  • Experience with SharePoint
