Job Description
The Head of Finance & Controlling Doka Singapore & Emerging Markets is accountable for all aspects of finance & controlling including business planning and financial accounting of the Doka Branch in Singapore and the Emerging Markets Region.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- As Finance Business Partner, you'll be part of the Leadership Team, working closely with Sales, Engineering and Operations Department in supporting company's financial operations through strategic business partnership.
- You manage full set of account, perform financial reporting and prepare the annual report.
- You coordinate financial planning, rolling forecasts and further develop the organizations financial strategy.
- You manage customer credit management process and assess customer credit risk and limit.
- You cooperate with the EAP Regional Head of Finance & Controlling for monthly, quarterly and annual reports and you are proactively ascertaining deviations to the forecast and suggest counter measures.
- You liaise with lawyers, auditors, tax authority and banks to ensure that policies, procedures, standards of performance and compliance are adhered.
- You coordinate continuous improvement and further develop internal standards within the area of responsibility.
- As part of the Leadership Team and Business Partner to your peers you are creating transparency, questioning the status—quo and foster the development of new ideas and processes.
- You provide leadership and guidance as well as training and development for your dedicated accounting team in Singapore.
- Travelling within South East Asia required from time to time.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance & Accounting
- Several years of relevant experience in Controlling, financial analysis and business planning, preferably in an international environment within an MNC
- Any experience with construction industry would be a major benefit
- Some years of Leadership Experience and International Experience as well as Big 4 (Audit) Background welcomed
- Hands-on Professional accounting experience
- Profound knowledge of International FRS and FRS Singapore
- ERP knowledge, especially in SAP FI and CO modules
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in verbal and written English
- Passion to learn and drive to succeed
- Proactive approach and self-reliant personality
