Job Description

  • Full responsibility for all aspects of Operations in the organisation.
  • Coordinate and supervise logistics and formwork procurement.
  • Effectively lead and develop the logistics/commercial department and the warehouse.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by supplying on time and invoicing accurately.
  • Represent the Operations department both externally and internally.
  • Optimise material movement, supply chain management and regional/global material exchange.
  • Maintain inventory quality, ensure accurate quality control and compliance with Doka quality standards.
  • Enable smooth and cost-effective logistics.
  • Support and execute the company vision and strategy.
  • Continuous development and support of the team including effective knowledge transfer.
  • Analyse and identify potential optimisations/improvements.
  • Create, generate, manage and analyse a large volume of reports.
  • Support with acquisition of additional profit margin.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Degree in Logistics/Economics or Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years experience in operations, logistics and/or warehousing ideally in the Middle East.
  • Preferably formwork / construction knowledge, ideally with Doka products.
  • Experience with contracts, negotiations and commercial calculations.
  • Team management experience.
  • Business know-how and experience (strategic planning and implementation, budgeting, order processing, inventory valuation, etc.).
  • Solid level of English; Arabic would be a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications; advanced Excel skilsl required.
