At Doka Distribution Center North America Ltd., we load and unload containers and trucks with our products.  We are a fast paced and dynamic environment with a strong focus on quality customer service.

The Yard staff reports to the Yard Manager.  He/she is responsible for their specifically assigned, hands on tasks ensuring accuracy and efficiency of the work performed and ensuring that safety and quality standards are upheld and maintained within the yard.  Such Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Assist Forklift Drivers with Loading and Unloading of Containers or Trucks
• Order Picking and Packaging
• Performing Housekeeping Activities
• Inventory Counting

• Experience in Logistics Yard a Plus
• Willing and able to Learn New Products, Concepts and Techniques
• Able to work in a Fast-Paced Environment

Communication

Daily interaction with yard staff, truck drivers and management.

Mental Effort

Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to be organized and manage time to meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

Working conditions will significantly vary (extreme outdoor temperatures/inclement weather conditions), high noise level in certain areas. These positions are physically demanding on a routine basis. Regularly required to reach with hands and arms: climb or balance and stoop: kneel and/or crouch.
