Summary Of Position

The Branch Manager in partnership with the Branch Sales Manager will achieve the company objectives for revenue in accordance with rental rate, discount and profitability guidelines for the Branch. This person coordinates and prioritizes work assignments with Operations and Engineering based on sales and customer needs. This person reports directly to theVP, Western Region and this position is based in Doka's exciting new Seattle Branch located in Sumner, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for all aspects of the Branch organization in cooperation with Sales, Operations and Engineering.
• Coordinates and manages Operational and Engineering resources within the Branch to ensure mutually agreed objectives are achieved in the agreed time period.
• Oversees human resources and staff development for all employees in the Branch in coordination with the National HR.
• Checks feasibility of proposals to customers and customer purchase orders.
• Ensures that the procurement of goods and services is coordinated with the Controller/CFO and Head of Procurement for the respective areas of responsibility within the signing authority limits and in compliance with the procurement guidelines.
• Partners with Sales, Engineering and Operations management to handle orders and projects to meet customer needs.
• Helps resolving all customer complaints.
• Reviews internal procedures, recommends process improvements to increase productivity and ensures compliance to existing Doka USA processes and standards.
• Ensures compliance with the branch’s fixed cost plans.
• Oversees proper maintenance of all branch facilities and fixed assets.
• Ensures all operations are Doka and OSHA compliant.
• Ensures that required safety training is conducted on an ongoing basis.
• Conducts weekly Branch meetings to coordinate with Sales, Engineering and Operations.
• Primary departmental functions as per job description.

Qualifications/Technical Proficiency

• Advanced College / Technical Degree preferred.
• Management experience required, Doka experience preferred.
• Effectively manages multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills including command of English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Qualitative abilities including strong analytical skills, technical proficiency and effective problem solving skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing and able to learn new computer systems, products, concepts and techniques.
• Possesses strong leadership skills, effectively manages a diverse team and achieves results.
• Able to work as an organized team player in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.

Communication
This position involves extensive daily interaction with colleagues, management and customers. Communicates effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally.

Mental Effort
This position requires the ability to think strategically and analytically. Able to envision a broader picture and understand the impact of this person’s accountabilities as related to the Doka Group. Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to be organized and manage time to meet deadlines.
