Job Description

 

  • Responsible for order processing, sourcing of goods as per client expectations and timely delivery schedule as well as active inventory management at optimum cargo capacity and cost.
  • Source and release quantities as per company strategy and product portfolio.
  • Check alternative solutions in clients demand/offers as per current stocks of non-available materials and coordinate with other Departments for clients satisfaction and stock optimization.
  • Maintain close communication flow and collaboration of any delays to all relevant parties and escalate when needed.
  • Assist with monitoring of stock level, responsible of returns and buy back planning.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all internal and external contacts involved in / required for smooth and cost optimized material movements.
  • Maintain correct and relevant master data in company software.
  • Coordinate and support optimization in the area of procurement.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Relevant education or professional experience for 3 to 4 years in operations, logistics, supply chain management.
  • Proactive and communicative personality with good behaviour, personal responsibility and assertiveness.
  • Team player with high degree of service orientation.
  • Well organized, process and improvement driven.
  • Sound business English, any further language (Arabic, German) of advantage.
  • Dedicated and able to resist stress.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking combined with a good hands-on mentality.
  • Good command of computer systems: MS Office (esp. Excel) Doka Discos II and SCM tool.
  • Preferred field of experience: Logistic and Procurement, preferably within Qatar, Middle East.
  • Construction related background and/or formwork knowledge would be of added-values.
