Job Description

Doka EAP is looking to appoint a Regional Sales Associate for Asia & Pacific to support the Head of Sales of the Region in development and implementation of sales strategies performing the role out of KL/Malaysia. Moreover you are accountable for overall market research & analysis for Asia Pacific to identify growth markets/segments/products. We are looking forward to accompany you in that role and to enable you developing into a Sales Position on the mid-term perspective.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • You assist the Regional Head of Sales in country specific tasks and general support
    • You optimize the offer and order processes (project calculation, contract management, change orders, claims, service charges) in order to increase gross margins
    • You administrate the project pipeline and optimize the data quality of the sales pipeline and forecast
    • You develop marketing plans for assigned product and/or market/area/accounts, including defining programs and tactics and coordinating the execution
    • You support continuously in list price management in the countries of Asia Pacific

  • Market Research & Analysis
    • You coordinate and conduct surveys from development through reporting, as well as analyzing and summarizing the results of both primary and secondary research for internal stakeholders.
    • You identify, research, analyze potential leads and share proactively by preparing outputs from lead provider (BCI, internet or similar)
    • You generate deep insights on customers and market trends in construction industry through advanced marketing research
    • You manage all market research projects across Asia & Pacific
    • You gather data and information on new markets
    • You observe market trends and competition

  • Training & Support for effective utilization of Doka Sales Support Tools
    • You provide support with internal sales tools, programs and pipeline management according to group standards to ensure and monitor effective utilization
    • You are actively involved in arranging and participation of local/regional Sales trainings across the region

Qualifications

  • Commercial (Business Administration/MBA/Economics or Marketing) and/or technical Qualification (preferably Degree)
  • Solid Understanding of Business Processes and Economic relations (Interpretation of key figures and controlling tools – project controlling)
  • Sales (Support) Experience within Construction Market in Asia Pacific
  • Experience in Contract and Invoice Management as well as Market Research
  • Particular Construction Industry knowledge highly preferred
  • Outstanding MS Excel and related software application skills as well as proficient in ERP systems and database’s
  • Personal Requirements:
    • Conceptual, analytical thinking and strong business acumen with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • High Learning Agility
    • Passionate in market research and Sales Support
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Ability to travel flexibly within the region
