Job Description

The Head of Finance and Controlling of Doka Malaysia & Singapore reports directly to the Managing Director
and is responsible for all aspects of finance including business planning and reporting as well as for all
aspects of financial accounting of both Malaysia & Singapore.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • As Finance Business Partner, you'll be part of the Country Management Team, working closely with
    Sales, Engineering and Operations Department in supporting company's financial operations through
    strategic business partnership
  • You manage financial bookkeeping and set financial reporting, customer credit management and
    create financial statements for annual reports
  • You coordinate financial planning, rolling forecasts and further develop the organizations financial
    strategy
  • You cooperate with the Regional Head of Finance & Controlling Asia for monthly, quarterly and annual
    reports and you are proactivley ascertain deviations to the forecast and suggest counter measures.
  • You liaise with lawyers, auditors, tax authority and banks to ensure that policies, procedures,
    standards of performance and compliance are adhered
  • You coordinate continuous improvement and further develop internal standards within the area of
    responsibility
  • As part of the Management Team and Business Partner to your peers you are creating transparency,
    questioning the status—quo and foster the development of new ideas and processes.
  • You provide leadership and guidance as well as training and development for your finance &
    controlling teams in Malaysia as well as in Singapore.
  • Travelling is required to Singapore on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance & Accounting
  • Several years of relevant experience in Controlling, financial analysis and business planning,
    preferably in an international environment, preferably gained in an MNC
  • Any experience with construction industry would be a major benefit
  • 3-4 years of Management Experience
  • Hands-on Professional accounting experience
  • Profound knowledge of International FRS and local Singapore & Malaysian GAAP
  • International Experience as well as Big 4 (Audit) Background would be welcomed
  • ERP knowledge, especially in SAP FI and CO modules is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in verbal and written English
  • Passion to learn and drive to succeed
