Ultiworld is the leading news media organization in disc sports (ultimate frisbee and disc golf). From deep reporting to incisive analysis to live video production, Ultiworld is at the forefront of content creation in the fast-growing disc sports world.

Ultiworld is seeking to hire new members of our video production team as we continue to expand our live video offerings.

As a small company, we offer a high degree of flexibility in job tasks. You will work with our Director of Video to help in some or all of the following areas: 

- On-site live producing and directing for live produced events
- Live graphics creation and playout
- Live replay control and playback
- Live audio mixing
- Set up and strike for live video events

While a knowledge of ultimate is certainly a plus, the ideal candidate will be a fan of sports and enjoy creating fun and engaging sports content. Knowledge of live video workflows is very helpful, though not required.

We are a fully remote company. Candidates for live video producing should expect to travel weekends and potentially up to a week at a time on site for live events around the US and sometimes overseas. 

This is contract-based work with the potential to become a part-time or full-time position depending on need.

- Experience in video production, editing, live broadcast, or other audio/video roles

- Travel nationally and occasionally internationally is required

- Knowledge of live video workflows (streaming via hardware switching, VMix, Wirecast, etc.) is a plus

- Knowledge of video or audio signal flow is a plus 

- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a remote workplace (we use Basecamp, Discord, and Google Suite software)

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a high pressure live environment is critical
