Job Description

Ulbrich is seeking a college student who is looking for an exciting summer internship opportunity in IT.  As an IT Intern, you will be exposed to a unique and well-rounded experience that will allow you to apply your educational background in a hands-on environment. Come and continue learning with us while you develop an understanding of the metals industry!

As an IT intern you will provide assistance to the Business Systems department with project-oriented responsibilities, data analyzation using business intelligence tools, and other IT related activities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(The essential duties and responsibilities listed below are not all encompassing.  Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned consistent with business requirements.)

  • Analyze data for reporting.
  • Assist in developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Review, validate, and scrub data.
  • Utilization of Microsoft tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Occasional clerical work: data entry, documentation of processes.
  • Regular attendance at work is required.

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Requires the ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of our company, its culture, and an overall understanding of business systems and why it is important.
  • Proficient computer skills – basic Microsoft tools such as Excel and Power BI preferred.
