Job Description

We are currently seeking a  Sales Representative who is a results-oriented professional with excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Our Inside Sales Representatives manage established accounts and prospect leads to increase our customer base.  They will participate in a product orientation program to quickly gain expertise with Ulbrich's products, customers and precision manufacturing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Managing an inside sales territory;
  • Building strong customer relationships;
  • Assisting with forecasting and inventory management;
  • Making outbound sales calls for the purpose of prospecting, expanding the customer base, and for marketing of additional products/product applications or services to existing customers;
  • Responding to inbound sales calls/customer telephone inquiries concerning all company products, processing services, pricing and delivery options;
  • Providing verbal and written quotations, negotiating order level pricing and order level freight terms, and determining inventory availability; and
  • Documenting customer orders in an accurate and timely manner, maintaining account files, preparing reports and corresponding as required. 

Qualifications

    PREFFERED EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

    • A college degree in Business, Engineering, or related field;
    • 2+ years outbound/inbound business to business technical sales experience in a manufacturing or service center setting, would be a plus;
    • Previous experience in account management;
    • Previous experience in the metals industry (wire products experience a plus);
    • Results oriented sales professional with excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, organizational and interpersonal skills;
    • Ability to understand and work effectively with the specifications and application of an extensive and technical product line; and
    • Proficiency in the use and application of MS Office software, including E-mail and Internet technology (CRM experience a plus.)
