Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to…

Work within a team that focuses on the implementation and operations management use of Industry 4.0 technology tools including the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics, Defect Detection Visioning Systems and Augmented Reality. Utilize knowledge of mechanical engineering, product design, materials, tooling and production capabilities and quality control standards. Champion lean initiatives throughout the organization to improve effectiveness and to eliminate waste.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience…

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong background in lean, 6-sigma, and other contemporary process and quality improvement methods, and a minimum of 5 years of discrete manufacturing experience.
  • Expertise improving the productivity and quality of operations, and project management in discrete manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in the use of the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics and other Industry 4.0 technologies is preferred.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with process improvements and equipment design/ modifications.
  • Working knowledge of statistical process control, metals properties, processing methods, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
