Upper Midwest (Working Remotely)

Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals, Inc. is seeking an Outside/Field Sales Representative to expand the Ulbrich customer base with strategic sales strategies for all Ulbrich products including Service Center, Strip Mill, and Wire Product.  We are currently looking for a motivated and successful outside sales professional with a proven track record of success who can make a significant contribution selling our existing products, determining customer needs for new products, and for establishing new client business. As an Outside/Field Sales Representative you will be expected to assume a proactive sales leadership role in developing and maintaining comprehensive interaction with our customers.


Requirements for qualified applicants include:

  • A minimum of 5 years of Technical Sales/Outside Sales experience;
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Engineering or Material Science preferred);
  • Metals industry experience preferred;
  • Ability to meet established business goals and deadlines;
  • Proven track record of developing a strategic sales strategy and building new business;
  • Ability to develop and meet sales forecasts;
  • Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office and CRM software;
  • Must be a self-starter;
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; and
  • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel.
