Job Description

Ulbrich of Illinois, a division of Ulbrich Steel, seeks an Accounting Assistant/Receptionist, reporting to the Administrative Manager. Primary responsibilities will include various support duties for the accounting and sales function and receiving/directing all incoming telephone calls and visitors.



Primary responsibilities include:


• Check sales orders against purchase order for accuracy,


• Prepare Accounts Payable payments and run various reports for Accounting,


• Perform record retention by scanning and indexing product shipping documents into system in accordance with defined process and procedures,


• Receive and respond to incoming calls in a timely and courteous manner, and


• Receive and register customers, vendors, suppliers and other visitors to the facility.

Qualifications

Individuals must have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years similar experience, preferably in Accounting. Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite software.
