Job Description
We're seeking a Project Intelligence Director for its Game Analytics, Production Analytics, User Research, Data Science and Applied AI teams across the Nordics region and Romania. The Project Intelligence Director is responsible for defining the long-term HD project-related data strategy and implementing that vision, developing and supervising a team of high-performing data analysts, user researchers, and data scientists that deliver fact-based insights and recommendations for all HD projects in the Zone.
You'll be responsible for monitoring trends and patterns within and outside the gaming industry, to identify developments in data analytics and data modeling, and implementing changes across all project intelligence teams, ensure high data quality, usability and availability. You'll oversee the Game Intelligence team including User Research, Games Lab, Game Analytics, Data Science and Production Intelligence and ensuring the team's health and engagement working together with leads on improvement plans to address problematic areas.
What You'll Do
- Provide the region top management with 360 snapshot KPIs of each project at fixed intervals, for zone level project decision making and steering, covering everything from production intelligence to game analytics and user research.
- Monitor the data and provide insights and recommendations to lead producers and Zone executives on strategies to improve the business.
- Manage stakeholders on Senior Producer/Director level, including for example Production, Publishing and Ubisoft Central Data Office.
- Ensuring the communication and reports from the teams are aligned and delivered for developers to help them make informed decisions on game design, live strategy and business strategy.
- Ensure high-quality design and implementation of telemetry architecture within all of the games.
- Enable teams to work closely with finance and Monetization teams to inform the project business strategy and produce updates to the project P&L’s at regular intervals.
- Oversee the operations of the User Test Lab, as well as all User Research activities.
- Ensuring the availability of production data through automated reporting and on demand dashboards for developers throughout the organization to understand the production status on project, team and individual level.
- Ensure integration of production data against G&A and prod tools such as RPM, TSM, JIRA etc to ensure precision in the reporting.
- Ensure the teams work closely together with Producers and Production Directors on the projects to understand the production data needs.
- Ensure reliable data pipelines and their 24/7 operation.
- Ensuring high data quality to deliver accurate data, with a high level of usability.
- Enable building and maintaining capabilities regarding Machine Learning and applied artificial intelligence, both for development tools and in-game application.

Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:
- Master’s degree in Math, Business or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience managing data analytics team within the game industry
- Knowledge of game industry business and live games.
- Knowledge in game production.
- Proficiency in data pipelines and data engineering
- Good knowledge of MLOps Engineering and Data Science.
