Job Description

To organize unforgettable events that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives, we are looking for our next Local IT Events Manager (EMEA). In close collaboration with Global Publishing, the International HQ and International Events teams, your team is in charge of IT & capture aspect of +50 external events a year, from setting up networks, PC’s & AV (game/player capture) equipment to evaluating success afterwards.

As such, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage your direct report, including but not limited to OKR’s & Performance reviews;
  • Plan, track and manage the setup of each event (documentation, resources, timelines, shipping, responsibilities, etc.) ensuring the liaison between Events and IT teams;
  • Contribute to track quality metrics of the event, assessment after event with improvement points, working on the prioritization of the event strategy globally;
  • Ensure the teams are adequately provided with event support, and that the said events are completed smoothly;
  • Collaborate with internal teams as well as with agencies to ensure the IT requirements are filled for the event;
  • Work with Production Studios to obtain and test in-dev game build capture;
  • Setup and install the capture equipment and IT equipment up to the OS Layer;
  • Provide training and help to the teams on proper event procedures, and work with IT vendors and partners to seek ways to improve our processes;
  • Manage inventory and maintain the capture process (game, audio, team chat…) and desktop and laptop imaging process;
  • Collaborate on the development of Global Standards and oversee implementation throughout the region;
  • Contribute to the development & implementation of Infrastructure and Operations systems & processes.
  • Contribute to the creation and ongoing review of departmental reference documents on our Confluence space.

Qualifications

Experience and skills

  • You have a solid experience in a related position as an IT Technician (networking, hardware, software)…
  • You have already managed a team and are customer-service oriented;
  • You have proven to be able to manage large scale projects;
  • You are recognized for your organizational and communication skills;
  • You have the ability to break the bridge between technical and non-technical teams through vulgarizing and good communication skills;
  • Ideally, you have experience in audiovisual and event production;
  • You are fluent in French.
