Job Description

As a senior game designer, you will play a critical role in shaping gameplay experiences and ongoing success of our mobile games. You will be reporting to the Lead game designer. Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and implement innovative features, optimise game content, and manage live operations will be ideal. 

  • Design and develop game features & systems for improved gameplay.
  • Develop and manage live operations strategies to maintain player engagement and drive monetization. 
  • Create in-game events, promotions and content updates. 
  • Optimise gameplay mechanics, economy, progression systems and difficulty levels in games. 
  • Partner with the monetization team to optimise in-game purchases, ads and virtual currency systems.
  • ​​Partner with the development team to make sure that upgrades and new features are implemented seamlessly.

Qualifications

Key Competencies : 

  • 5+ years of experience in game design, with a strong focus on mobile game development.
  • Experience with free-to-play games and live service games.
  • Knowledge of game monetization strategies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to understand data and make data-driven decisions 
  • Proficiency with Unity is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of mobile gaming trends.
