Job Description

Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Junior Financial Analyst, Overhead to be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, with specific focus on overhead costs. This individual will provide partnership and support to Publishing leadership teams and IT organization to plan and monitor Overhead and IT costs for Publishing.

The ideal candidate is a strong business partner with demonstrated analytical skills. He/She will have very strong finance, accounting, solid business judgment, attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

This individual will be located in Saint-Mandé and report to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis - Overhead.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the Overhead budgeting and forecasting for assigned business partners. Develop a full understanding of their organization’s activities and strategic priorities to support them insightfully in their planification.
  • Partner with IT organization and internal customers across the Publishing organization to understand and monitor the IT costs for Publishing.
  • Provide variance analysis of Hosting and Content Delivery Network costs, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the forecast models to reflect operational adjustments
  • Partner with accounting team during month and quarter accounting end close to ensure accuracy of bookings. Manage intercompany rebills.
  • Provide ongoing support to IT organization for all planning, forecasting purposes
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting on Overhead - analyzing financial results, synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with strong academic performance in a relevant focus such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • First relevant Corporate FP&A experience
  • Strong foundation in Excel, Hyperion Essbase and Oracle planning tools
  • Fluency in English is a must have
