Job Description

About the role

As an HR Business Partner at Ubisoft Chengdu, you will be responsible for providing excellent experience to employees to boost engagement, driving performance management cycle, creating opportunities to accelerate talent growth and promoting Ubisoft culture and value to cultivate a respectful working environment.

You will work closely with other HR functions and business stakeholders to ensure all deliveries add value to business and people that support Ubisoft Chengdu’s future growth.

What you will do

  • Be assigned to specific business teams as a vital role to contribute in business success by developing team and individual competency.
  • Provide tailored and insightful HR advices & solutions in daily HR operations, such as:
    • Resources planning
    • Performance & feedback
    • Comp & Ben proposals
    • Customized events/programs
  • Provide coaching & support to leads on:
    • Leadership build-up
    • Talent development
    • Team morale & discipline management
    • Team structure optimization
  • Be the first contact for all ER cases and act on employee emergencies.
  • Support employee throughout their career cycle in Ubisoft from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Bridge HR functions and business teams to synchronize business strategy and HR policies.
  • Maintain HR systems, documents and database with accuracy & efficiency. Build up SOPs with the mindset of operation excellence.
  • Foster a vibrant and respectful work environment, promote company culture and value.
  • Adapt and react fast to changes and influence others in a positive way.
  • Explore channels to absorb industry knowledge and HR trends.

  • 支持员工在 Ubisoft 的整个职业周期,从入职到离职。
  • 连接人力资源职能和业务团队,同步业务战略和人力资源政策。
  • 准确高效地维护人力资源系统、文件和数据库。建立SOP。
  • 营造充满活力和相互尊重的工作环境,推广企业文化和价值。
  • 快速适应变化并做出应对,并以积极的方式影响他人。
  • 以敏锐的头脑探索行业知识和人力资源趋势的渠道。



What you should be equipped with

  • Prior experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication skill in both English and Chinese. 
  • Strong interpersonal skill with diversity and inclusion mindset
  • Good at data analysis and visualization.
  • Good at managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Adequate knowledge of China labor laws and regulations.
  • Self-motivator, team player, and positive influencer.

Bonus point

  • HR initiatives or project experience is a plus.
  • Good presentation skill is a plus.
