Job Description
As the Vice President of Sales + Partner Ecosystem, you will be a key driver of our growth and success by cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with financial services vendors, payroll services providers, associations, insurance brokers, financial services system integrators, and channel partners. Your mission will be to build a strong ecosystem of partner revenue alliances that amplify our market reach, enhance our product offerings, drive revenue, and accelerate customer adoption.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with our business objectives, identifying and prioritizing potential partners.
- Establish and nurture relationships with financial services vendors, financial integrators, and channel partners, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for mutual success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify partnership opportunities, develop joint value propositions, and drive joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements, ensuring goals, objectives, and expectations are aligned.
- Enable partner success by providing training, resources, and ongoing support to maximize their ability to promote and sell our solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, tracking key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities and drive innovation.
Qualifications
Competencies
Leadership: Develop, mentor, and grow in-house Partner Sales team and develop talent. Ability to lead by example, willing to roll up sleeves and demonstrate “What Good Looks Like” (WGLL)
Business Acumen: Identify promising and eliminate unproductive partner relationships. Negotiate difficult commercial situations with an eye toward long term sustainable and profitable relationships
Planning: Lead and contribute to the creation of a comprehensive global Partner Ecosystem plan
Communications: Proven track record as a strong communicator and collaborator, able to forge productive working relationships inside and outside our firm.
Skills + Experience
- 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships or business development roles within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships with financial services vendors, financial integrators, and/or channel partners.
- Strong understanding of the financial services landscape and emerging technologies.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment and navigate ambiguity.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Additional Information
This is a salaried, full-time, remote position with a base salary range of $175-200k annually plus commission.
