Job Description

The Retirement Plan Consultant will utilize their superior sales skills and retirement industry knowledge to support Ubiquity’s growth strategy by quickly and efficiently responding to leads from assigned channels and executing sales campaigns. They will be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.

This role is primarily an inside sales position, though occasional (2-4 times per year) in-person meetings and industry conference attendance is required.

Core Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Quickly respond to leads and prospects (within 4 business hours) with a consultative sales approach
  • Utilize outstanding prospecting skills to generate qualified leads
  • Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients
  • Perform product demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce
  • Master Ubiquity’s product line-up and effectively articulate it to prospective clients
  • Keep current on all retirement plan legislation, policies, and trends
  • Act as a liaison between the new client and Implementations group to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Encourage, inspire, and support the team by sharing your knowledge
  • Work with internal and external partners and departments to ensure we are helping our clients achieve their retirement dreams, including meeting attendance (remotely or on-site) and collaborating on the development of sales collateral, tools and competitive/market analysis

Qualifications

Competencies

Sales Skills: Ability and willingness to relentlessly develop and manage a robust sales pipeline and maintain a high close rate

Organizing: A self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities and thrive in a deadline and quota-driven environment with frequently changing priorities

Communication: Outstanding verbal and writing skills. Comfortable with public speaking and presenting

Integrity: Conduct all business in an ethical, professional manner, consistent with Ubiquity’s values

Skills + Experience

  • 3-5 years sales experience in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • 401(k) or financial industry experience required
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals
  • Adept at consultative selling, negotiating, and building rapport and trust with internal and external clients
  • Enjoys working with technology and looks for ways to be more effective
  • Experience using Salesforce, Calendly, Zoom, and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Works collaboratively in a results-oriented sales team environment
  • Able to be nimble and can stay effective and on target

Additional Information

This is a salaried, full-time, remote position with a salary range of $59 - 100k annually (base + commission).
