Job Description

The Payroll Partner Onboarding Specialist (Temporary To Hire) will serve as primary contact with clients to integrate, onboard, and support their payroll providers for successful regular client submission of employee contributions to their Ubiquity 401(k) plan. 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Work with payroll partners to configure and integrate their platforms with Ubiquity’s to successfully process payrolls, achieving target Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) 

  • Educate and onboard payroll partners, including creating and delivering training materials (documented guides, videos, webinars, etc) 

  • Work directly with clients and payroll partner as needed to ensure timely and regular payroll and 401(k) contributions submissions  

  • Provide day to day partner relationship management, including identifying and communicating new partnership opportunities to Ubiquity sales team, and resolving partner-related issues 

  • Document/update policies and procedures as needed 

  • Represent the voice of the partner and client across multiple departments within Ubiquity 

  • Collaborate with Ubiquity teams to resolve issues and develop payroll-processing related solutions, and to identify and prioritize payroll-processing related system fixes, updates, and enhancements with Ubiquity’s platform 

  • Regularly report on payroll partner success 

  • Assist other client implementation and support teams as needed 

  • Maintain, follow, and enforce all Ubiquity security policies and procedures at all times 

Qualifications

Competencies 

Experience - Excellent project and relationship management experience, especially in financial, retirement, or payroll industry. 

Integrity - Takes personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight. 

Communication - Presents information clearly, concisely, and logically, through verbal and written communication in a professional way. 

Organization - Able to work autonomously, utilizing project management and CRM tools to ensure that all deadlines and commitments are met with consistent and effective follow up. 

  

Skills + Other 

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 

  • 5+ years proven track record of experience successfully nurturing and growing partner relationships 

  • 5+ years experience retirement integrating 3rd party payroll systems into retirement platform 

  • 5+ years experience managing up to multiple dozen simultaneous client engagements 

  • Ability to sell or speak to offerings in the financial services, advisory, or human capital management preferred, but not required 

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Prezi, other associated computer programs. Salesforce experience strongly desired 

Additional Information

This is a temporary, part-time position (20-25 hours per week) that is 100% remote*. Based upon volume and business need, this position could grow into a full-time permanent role in 2022.
