Job Description

Position Purpose

To support Ubiquity’s business growth strategies by providing an aggressive, energetic approach to business development initiatives.  The successful Sales Development Representative will look for ways beyond the stated responsibilities to achieve and exceed all objectives and will serve as “bench strength” with a career path to Retirement Plan Consultant, Partner Support Representative or Strategic Partnership Manager.

Core Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly quotas for lead generation, revenue and appointments
  • Qualify leads from multiple sources
  • Proactively qualify prospective clients for sales opportunities through a large volume of outbound calls and emails
  • Present Ubiquity capabilities to potential clients through sales calls, demonstrations, marketing collateral, webinars, etc.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients
  • Daily utilization of Salesforce to maintain accounts, leads, contacts and opportunities according to sales team best practices, policies and procedures
  • Generate sales and activity reports
  • Provide backup and assistance to Retirement Plan Consultants
  • Work with Marketing to assist in the development and execution of campaigns
  • Bring an energetic, positive attitude, every day
  • Assist Retirement Plan Consultants with prospects as needed
  • Generate reporting as requested for management, team members and other teams as appropriate

Skills + Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Prezi other associated computer programs. Salesforce experience is required
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills and concepts
  • Comfortable working on a results-oriented team
  • Ability to be a team player in a competitive and fun environment
