Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Northern Lights
As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring their recovery and well-being.
- Provide direct patient care under the established plan of care and clinical protocols created by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Implement physical therapy treatment programs, carrying out essential therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.
- Monitor patient progress during treatment sessions and report any significant changes or responses to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist with patient assessments and participate in gathering data as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues to provide encouragement, education, and updates on treatment progression.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including daily treatment notes, attendance records, and incident reports in collaboration with the primary physical therapist.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation technicians to maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinic environment and support patient flow.
Qualifications
- Graduate (or upcoming) from a PTA program
- Current (or upcoming) PTA license in the state of North Dakota
- Outgoing and energetic personality
- New graduates are welcome!
