Company Description

Our customer Canon  / Oce is offering Managed Print Services to an increasing number of customers. To support the Canon fleet operators in their daily job to manage the printer fleet at a customer site, a dedicated support tool, Business Rule Module, is developed. It informs the fleet operator when action is needed because a printer runs out of supplies or reports an error. As such the Business Rule Module acts as an intermediate between the local monitoring tooling and the Fleet Operators.

Job Description

Position's main tasks:

  • Functional and technical design of the Business Rule Module (BRM) in accordance with the BRM architecture
  • Contribute to elaboration of the BRM architecture and specification of Canons system interfaces
  • Implementation and testing of initial and follow-up releases of BRM

Need to have:

  • Level: Med or Senior level

 

Education:

  • Higher vocational or university education in computer science or has reached this level through another form of training or experience.

Qualifications

Skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrated software design skills
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee a complex software system and ability to propose improvements of the software architecture
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art programming technique software solutions and keeps this knowledge up-to date.
  • In-depth knowledge on OO/programming/modelling aspects in .Net C#.
  • In-depth knowledge on web-based interface technology such as REST/JSON and web-services
  • Experience with design for testability and automatic software testing
  • Affinity with database technology (SQL Server)
  • Experience in modern software engineering methods and processes.

Your employment contract will be concluded with USG Engineering or one of our Partner companies and USG Engineering will take care of Work and Resident Permits
