Job Description

As a senior frontend developer, you will lead in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in front-end development, showcasing expertise in technologies such as PostgreSQL, React.js, Next.js, and cloud services.

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced systems using Node.js, Next.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate front-end components seamlessly with the back-end services.
  • Architect and optimize database structures using PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to deploy and manage robust back-end services
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Linux command-line interface (CLI) for server management and administration.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure the team adheres to coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements and provide strategic technical insights.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of frontend development experience using React.js with some experience using Next.js and PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience building an enterprise system at scale. 
  • Some experience with cloud services, with a preference for AWS or Azure. 
  • English proficiency is a MUST (A minimum of C1 Level English).
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with early-stage companies and startup environments is a plus.
  • Excited to work in a startup environment; you have a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid, high-growth environment.
  • Able to work on entire features, from concept through to production deployment ensuring the feature is built and deployed in a timely fashion.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field would be very desirable.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker.
  • Bonus: Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles.
