The Data and Insights Manager will serve as a linchpin, connecting dots across editorial, commercial, marketing, sales, tech, customer success, and operations. This role is designed to help us not just understand our current landscape but also anticipate and shape the future of our industry.

Experience

• 3y+ hands-on experience visualizing data with tools
• Highly competent user of Looker, Google Analytics and Google TagManager
• Previous hands-on experience with BigQuery, and basic SQL
• Expertise with the following tools is highly desirable: ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, Zapier, Make, Monday.com, Miro, GA4, Looker,

Responsibilities

• To create a unified data strategy to build engaged quality, data, being able to profile the data, hyper personalisation, build new KEMA (known, Engaged, Marketable, Audience) data.
• Create/update a suite of reports that aggregates data across different sources to provide actionable insights - including supporting the build of necessary web analytics and platform connections/integrations
• Assess system performance and test data tracking - making recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements.
• Develop and implement procedures for effective data management.
• Create rules and procedures for data sharing.
• Oversee and manage staff members in the daily use of data systems.
• Guarantee adherence to legal and company regulations.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
• Create/update a suite of reports that aggregates data across different sources to provide actionable insights with channel performance.
• Document audience CRM processes and ensure best practice is followed by all users.
• Deliver delegate dashboards across all products.
• Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements.
• Create and enforce policies for effective data management.
• Monitor & analyse information and data systems and evaluate their performance.
• Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
• Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.
• Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards.
• Assist with reports and data extraction.
• Continually develop data management strategies.
• Assist with recognizing and upholding digital security systems to protect delicate information.
• Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.
