Job Description

💰 £25,000 - £27,000 Per Annum

About You

The core remit of this role is to deliver first class SEO content and support news writing across the brand’s media platform and content hubs. The role will require regular proactive engagement with breaking topics and high value search terms and would suit someone with a minimum of two years’ experience in business writing for search. HR knowledge is desired but not essential. Multimedia experience is vital — we’re not just looking for great writers, we need digital content experts who think about how a story is packaged and how this can be leveraged to identify and grow audiences.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Working to deadlines to create original, high quality SEO content including both short and longform writing.
  • Sourcing new data and stories on practitioner side, HR technology trends, and building out data and stories to engage UNLEASH’s target audience of senior HR and technology professionals.
  • Helping with the sourcing of latest industry keywords and breakout topics using SEO tools and software.
  • Working daily with both the editorial and digital teams to target sought after keywords to drive intent-based traffic to UNLEASH’s higher value sign-up pages.
  • Writing/producing at least 10 original pieces of SEO content per week.
  • Engaging with CHROs, CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, and HR tech leaders from large market enterprises in North America and Europe.
  • Supporting with news writing when required.

This role will be a great fit if you have the following skills:

  • Experienced full-time SEO writer with experience in the B2B tech market.
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics, SEMRush, Buzzsumo, and proven experience in audience building.
  • Knowledge of enterprise technology trends — ideally including HR, recruitment, learning, AI, etc.
  • A proven ability to translate complex subjects and data into clear and engaging stories and analysis.
  • Proficiency with content management systems, WordPress, social media, etc.
  • A proven ability to build sources and develop lasting relationships in enterprise B2B organisations.
  • Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices such as internal linking and image optimisation.
  • Fast-paced, be willing and able to hit the ground running.
  • Have exceptional writing, storytelling, and multimedia skills.
  • Have a track record of generating industry-leading content.
  • A confident and well-spoken communicator.
  • Self-sufficient with good time management.
  • Superior attention to detail and organisation.
  • Ability to multitask and work well within an international team. 

A nice to have, but not essential....

Any experience within HR, HR Technology, or early-stage products is considered desirable.
