Job Description

Reporting directly to the CMO, the Head of Performance Marketing will be responsible for the planning, implementation/optimizing and analysis of all digital marketing campaigns/channels for shows and news site. This position is key to future growth and will be responsible for the top-to-bottom execution of our digital marketing strategy.

The candidate should have a data centric approach, capable of consuming multiple streams of data from across our shows and websites, and using data to influence, educate and drive a multi channel marketing strategy, that includes attribution. The candidate will have a very strong background in Search Engine Marketing (Google, Bing)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, implementation/optimizing and analysis of all digital marketing campaigns/channels across three events and UNLEASH News, our media platform
  • Accountable for return on advertising spend across all digital campaigns
  • Responsible for developing and delivering the SEO strategy, both technical and content marketing, working closely with our content marketing and production team
  • Owns strategy on all areas of customers journey (from email to social platforms to website and more) and able to guide and support web, content marketing and agencies on redirecting and retargeting
  • Responsible for the following digital channels to drive store footfall and web revenue:
  1. Paid Search (Google, Bing)
  2. Remarketing (Google, Bing, Facebook)
  3. Display Advertising (Google)
  4. Affiliation/Partnerships

Qualifications

  • Must have a very strong background in Search Engine Marketing (Google, Bing), SEO (both technical and content marketing), paid search, remarketing, and display advertising (including social media channels)

  • Requires hands-on knowledge of best practices in SEM and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint

  • Familiar with Salesforce & Pardot or similar CRM and Marketing tools

  • Experience working in a high performance multichannel environment with multiple KPIs

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets, and the ability to overlay attribution to understand causality
  • An organized individual with exceptional attention to detail and focus on quality of results, able to provide high-level and detailed reports on campaigns, depending on audience
  • Experience within events business is highly desirable
  • Preferred candidates to be based in Budapest, Hungary but open to candidates located elsewhere
