The salary for this role is £33,000 (inclusive of a Market Premium Payment (MPP), and onsite working is expected for 3 days a week.

Job Description

This role can be based at can any of the following sites: Culham, Oxfordshire.

This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

The Role

RACE (Remote Applications in Challenging Environments) focuses on the development of remote handling and automated systems for power stations and other complex environments. We are looking for Project Management professionals to lead initiatives that drive cutting-edge technologies for industrial and safety advancements. This role supports project managers by ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, with key responsibilities in document management, performance tracking, budgeting, and resource planning.

Additional Responsibilities:

·  Create, manage, and control key project documentation, including risk management, change management, and project financial controls. Ensure project databases and records are up-to-date and comply with Delivery Life Cycle reporting requirements.

·  Proactively coordinate and close project and meeting actions for the Project Manager. Manage team job cards, holiday planners, and overtime requests.

·  Report on data across the RACE projects portfolio, including monthly and quarterly reports. Assist with board meeting preparations by liaising with project managers, technical teams, and finance.

·  Organize meetings and record minutes and actions.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent report/ minutes writing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Be able to work autonomously, with initiative and minimum supervision
