We are looking for a Backend Developer (f/m/d) to join our engineering team in the beautiful city of Hamburg! AddApptr manages billions of transactions and requires a highly performant and flexible backend system. As a Backend Developer (f/m/d) at AddApptr you will play a key role in developing the fastest and most reliable solution for mobile advertising.

Your Role:

• You will design, implement, test, commission and maintain our backend systems
• You will be working on different technical environments: Linux, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, Nginx/Apache, HTML
• You will communicate with the management team and with colleagues from other technical teams
• You will be in charge of performance analysis and optimization

Must have requirements

Your Background:

• You bring 3+ years of experience in IT operations that include programming with PHP. Further knowledge, e.g. in HTML/JavaScript, SysAdmin are a benefit
• You are very familiar with a Linux / MacOS environment
• You have strong experience with SQL and NoSQL DBMS (MySQL, Redis, Clickhouse)
• You have experience in planning and maintaining large and high-performance backend systems
• You have the ability to estimate time and effort realistically

Nice to have requirements

Nice-to-haves:

• Ideally experience with basic web technologies (XHTML, XML, JSON, AJAX)
• Ideally Know-How of system administration (Debian Linux)
• Ideally experience in machine learning or other programming languages are a plus
• B.Sc./B.A. in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; professional certification is a plus
